I originally sat down to paint this piece with the simple intention to practice some watercolour, but it turned into one of my most cherished pieces of work. Being a Digby native, Maud Lewis is near and dear to my heart. Most of the artwork hanging in my home is by other artists, but this piece is on display in my dining room.
